The quick bread roll recipe can be used in different ways – a variety of shapes and flavours.

Here is the method for cloverleaf rolls – bread rolls shaped like a clover leaf with three ‘leaves’

Follow the recipe for quick bread rolls until you get to roll the dough into balls.

10    To make the rolls, break off 12 evenly sized pieces of dough

11    Break each piece of dough into three and roll into small balls.  Put three balls into each hollow of a lightly greased muffin pan

12    Brush with milk to glaze

13   Cover with a wet tea towel or plastic film and leave to rise in a warm place for about 10 minutes or until about doubled in size.

14   Bake in a hot oven at 220°C for 10-15 minutes.
