Feijoa Crumble

Frozen bananas sweet and smooth(ie)

November 20, 2012 | Filed under Dessert

Carol has sent two suggestions for using bananas.

If you remove the bananas from the freezer skin them and quickly blend them you can serve them as banana icecream – no sugar added – they are sweet enough.

As a result you can also do the same adding them to a smoothie – no sugar added. I use both, for the smoothie using the banana as the sweetener and then adding strawberries or seasonal fruit and blending.

Thanks Carol.
