24 hour ginger beer

This recipe for ginger beer comes from a Fact Sheet off Burkes Back Yard, an Australian TV gardening programme. It can be ready to drink within 24 hours.
As it uses ginger root instead of powdered ginger, it will probably be stronger than the other ginger beer recipe on askmumnow.com. I haven ‘t tried this so will be interested to hear how you get on.

Hot chocolate drink

Ingredients
1 tablespoon soluble chocolate powder
1 cup hot milk
1 tablespoon honey to sweeten (only if necessary)
Method
- Heat all ingredients in a saucepan till almost at the boil or in a microwave for 40 seconds
- Stir well and pour into a heatproof mug
- Stir in a teaspoon of cinnamon or cardamom for a spicy touch.
