Removing tight rings

December 30, 2009 Filed under Tip of the Day

If a ring on your finger becomes too tight, try one of the following to remove it:

  1. Wash your hands in hot water then rub the finger with soap and work the ring along the finger until it comes off.
  2. Rub  olive oil or an oily handcream along the finger and move the ring along past the knuckle
  3. Spray the ring with a commercial window cleaner and move it along the finger (Make sure there is no raw skin as these cleaners contain alcohol and will sting)
